My debut novel, BURIED DEEP IN OUR HEARTS, celebrates the important bond with our animals and honors their memory when we lose them. My second novel, FINDING HER SPIRIT, is a coming-of-age novel about the many ways a horse-loving girl finds strength in horses, even though she can’t have one. Spirit (the buckskin horse in the pic) is the inspiration. Sadly, in March 2021, Spirit unexpectedly earned his angel wings. I'm forever grateful to Dream Haven Guest Ranch for our time there and for introducing this amazing horse into my life. His (too-short) life literally changed the trajectory of mine.
